Kelly grew up in West Omaha. While she has a bachelor’s degree in education and human sciences from UNL, she decided to work with animals instead of children. Kelly and her 5-year-old daughter Mia enjoy playing with their calico cat, Daisy, and their Dalmatian, Minnie.
